Multi Family Condo Remodel

During the condo boom of the 60’s and 70’s, thousands of condominiums like the one above were built. Most had the same 2 bedroom, 2 bath floor plan with small, cramped kitchens and low ceilings. Now that the 21st century has rolled around, these condos are desperately in need of renovation. Unfortunately, to renovate properly, you need a carpenter, plumber, electrician, tile mechanic, carpet installer and painter. Plus, a good all around handyman. And maybe a therapist before you get finished! At Surfside Construction and Development Corp., we have the ability to do it all in our CONDO RENEW™ division. Look at some of our project photos below and contact us to bring your condo into the 21st century!
Villas

Condo villas were a hit in the 1970’s and 80’s. They were single story attached residences, and usually had exterior maintenance included in their condo fees. Unfortunately, these villas inherited the same cramped kitchens and 1970’s styles.

Here are before and after photos of a condo renovation we did in the Northern Palm Beach County area. In this particular villa, Our CONDO RENEW™ division did an entire renovation including new granite kitchen, 2 new baths, new interior doors & trim, and new tile floors.
It’s hard to believe isn’t it? Removing the dated overhead canopy made the kitchen appear larger as it became part of the living area. Actually, this change made the entire villa look more spacious. Notice the use of cabinets under the raised counter. Combined with a full depth built in cabinet over the refrigerator and tall upper cabinets on the far wall, the owner actually gained storage space!
Town Homes

Townhouses were a runaway best seller of the 70s and 80’s, and are still popular. They provide a sense of privacy and at the same time offer a lot of room for the money. Although larger than the average condo or villa, they still benefit from some careful updating. Opening up the kitchen has become a popular improvement. Below are before and after photos showing how different the same home can be.
